SPDIF/OFF:Choosethissettingtooutputanalogsignal,andtherewillbeno
signaloutputtedfromopticaljack.
SPDIF/RAW:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoapower
amplifierwithanopticalcable.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigital
andMPEGaudioformats,thecorrespondingdigitalsignalswillbeoutputtedfrom
theOpticalOutputjack.
SPDIF/PCM:ChoosethissettingifyourDVDplayerisconnectedtoa2-channel
digitalstereoamplifier.WhenplayingadiscrecordedwithDolbyDigitalandMPEG
audioformats,audiosignalswillbemodulatedintoa2-channelPCMsignal,andit
willbeoutputtedfromtheOpticalOutputjack.
